The road to La Palma, El Salvador

Thanks to Fernanado Llort, a famous El Savadoran artist, La Palma is a colorful village in the mountains near the border with Honduras. He moved here in the early 1970s. After a beautiful ride up winding mountain roads, I wander around the village to photograph some of the many murals and paintings that are on nearly every building, power pole and fence in the town. The border is only about 5 miles away and I have jus the one evening to see La Palma before heading to Honduras in the morning.
