Bexhill-on-Sea England

On the south coast between Hastings and Eastbourne is the small town of Bexhill-on-Sea, where Brian’s parents live. It’s a lovely seaside community with miles and miles of rocky shores to walk, and miles and miles of country farmlands and walking paths to traipse across.  A couple of days after I arrive he takes me on a cross country walk toward the village of Crowhurst. But it turns out that a major road project blocks some of our route so we settle for a five mile loop on farmlands before coming back into town. It’s a gorgeous day and a beautiful place for a walk.

Brian and I go for a walk along the seafront one day, and the sea is flat as glass.

We wander up to the De La Warr Pavillion and then on the Bexhill Museum which turns out to be much bigger and more interesting than I had expected.
