PS. I’m hoping you’ll be able to come back home to celebrate the next Rally. They’re saying the numbers are up this year, and it’s not even an anniversary year. Lots and lots and lots of cycles. Sorry, but I’m not heading into them. The weather has been cool and they’re all getting a little rain to wash their tires. Watch out now, ’cause I’m “following” you. Heal on!
Hey that’s great n motivating. Keep it up.
Hello, I am writing from La Paz, BCS, I was looking for some information, I am new to the biker world and came across your blog, a bit late 😉. I hope I get to experience a long trip soon. Saludos
Welcome! It’s a great world to be part of, bikers are usually great people. If I can ever help, drop me a line. Wishing you well.
Thanks!
Just found your blog and I loooooove!!! We are head over heels in love with South Dakota, have been going to the rally since 2004, riding from Detroit. And you travel full time? OMG after my own heart! Looking forward to your posts!
Thanks so much. I traveled for two full years and will be going back to work in December as its time to get some money in the bank again, haha! Wishing you well.
Thank you so much for including my book ‘Bonneville Go or Bust – on the roads less travelled’ on your list – it’s been a 5 star reviewed book both sides of the Atlantic! – more details for purchasing it and the story on amazon – http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=bonneville+go+or+bust
Happy Travels

You’re so welcome! I can’t wait to read it. Best wishes, M
what job have you picked? I am starting literally over after being “stable” for all of my adult hood.
I was in the same boat. Worked 21 years as a hotel manager at the same company and then packed it all in to ride to Ushuaia which took me two years. I came back and had a job waiting for me, same field, better company. So I’m in a hotel again and loving it. But someday I’d like to have my own small business…fingers crossed. And how about you? What are you going to choose for yourself now? Whatever it is I wish you well, and every happiness.
Was feeling a little settled in New York but broke my tibia in a motorcycle accident back in October. Been laid up since. Hope to get my cast off tomorrow if we don’t get hit with a blizzard over night. I need something challenging. Interviewing for a job in organ donation. What I did in Canada. If that doesn’t work out? Real estate lol
I saw your X-ray pic in your blog…so sorry to see that, but as you pointed out and I know personally, without ATTGATT we might be missing lower legs. Hope you heal well. And good luck in whatever you do. I’m sure whoever you work for will be lucky to have you.
Ah cast off! As of today ☺️
Congrats!!! Keep healing!
will thanks.
Hi. I’m a nomad rider too. I’ll be up in Sturgis and then ride back up to Standing Rock (I stayed at Sacred Stone camp each of the five times I’ve been). Know anyone cool going up that way after the rally? Oneyoga@live.com. Thinking about Monument Valleyt and Slab City for winter…gonna do some You Tube videos on living/camping a bike (as a saddle-tramp, LOL).
We had Yusuf for a guide in Casablanca. Did you get his info? Email me if so.
So sorry I must have missed this. Yes I think I have it somewhere. Will check and let you know.
